The similarity here is that one can play on the exchange like in a casino and gamble if they wish, and there are plenty of such people. But one doesn't have to. The line is very thin.

it is striking how everything that happens here is VERY SIMILAR to what happens there.
same wins and losses
same Gurus with absolutely ridiculous phrases in the style of Captain Obvious (about the slot machine): "if it pays, it pays" "if it doesn’t pay, it doesn’t pay" etc.
and of course, only one person or a group of friends (not the player, colloquially referred to as a fool) always wins - that is the DEALER or the ORGANIZER OF THE GAME.
just like here, there are the loudest cries about WINNING, but hardly any mention of the losses.
In general, it’s the same.
