$BNB
The total number of BNB tokens in circulation is 155.8 million coins. From the initial issuance, 44.2 million coins have already been burned. According to the project's founders, only 100 million BNB should remain at the end, and the burning process will be completed. Various estimates suggest that it will take about 8-10 years to remove the remaining 55.8 million coins from circulation, depending on trading volumes on Binance. The volume of burning is determined automatically by the formula:
KM = KB * 1000 / (C + K).
KM – the number of coins to be burned;
KB — the number of new blocks in the last quarter;
C – the average price of BNB relative to USD in the last quarter;
K – a fixed value set at 1000.
Accordingly, the platform does not control the burning of coins; everything happens automatically according to a previously defined algorithm.
A separate part of the token burning process became the Pioneer Burn program. Unfortunately, token holders may sometimes lose their tokens due to service errors, particularly due to interactions with the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) blockchain.
