BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) saw its biggest outflow since its launch when trading resumed in the US on January 2. According to Apollo CEO Thomas Fahrer, the spot Bitcoin ETF saw an outflow of $330.8 million, or more than 3,500 BTC. That beat the previous record of $188.7 million on December 24. The outflow, which came after the New Year’s holiday, was the third consecutive day of trading, bringing the total to $391 million. However, the BlackRock fund ranked third among all US ETFs in 2024.
