Will Trump become the president with the highest "overall happiness" in American history?
He was a second-generation rich man, similar to Kennedy, but he was successful in business and his success in business was much more impressive than Kennedy's when he was young and entered politics. In terms of romanticism, the two were equally matched, surpassing all presidents including Clinton. But there was one thing that Kennedy could not surpass him, which was that he lived longer and Kennedy died younger.
In the 2020 election, he was defeated by Biden and stepped down. However, during the four years of Biden's administration, he was equivalent to a "shadow president." In other words, he was president for eight years and a shadow president for another four years. No one could match him except Roosevelt, who served three terms and a few months... But this assumes that Trump lives to complete his four-year presidency. If he "collapses halfway", it will be another matter.
In the election, Trump received 312 electoral votes, but still fell short of Obama's 332. The highest in history was Reagan, who received 525 electoral votes during his re-election, winning in 49 states, while little Roosevelt only had 523 votes and won in 46 states.
Today, the success or failure of the U.S. president has 3 important indicators. The first is successful re-election; Trump was re-elected after a term, which can be considered a success.
The second is that he received the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump is the only U.S. president in recent years who has not initiated a war; if he can continue this achievement in his second term, theoretically, he could receive it. However, the Nobel Peace Prize is controlled by the Democrats; even war-hawk Obama received one, so whether Trump can successfully obtain it is uncertain.
The third is, can he designate a successor to take over? Back then, Clinton's successor Gore was thwarted by Bush, and Obama's successor Hillary was also defeated by Trump, so it's not perfect either. In modern times, the successful designation of a successor was by Reagan, whose vice president Bush successfully took over as president, although Bush failed to be re-elected 4 years later.
In this regard, Trump's vice president Pence is a very controversial figure; it is not easy to inherit Trump's legacy. His relationship with Trump is also not particularly good.
Trump's true confidant is his daughter, but after the last election in 2020, the father-daughter relationship soured, and Ivanka claimed she would care for her sick husband and no longer engage in politics; although, flipping in the political world is common. The second is Musk, but he was not born in the U.S. and is not eligible to run for president. Moreover, it is uncertain whether he will turn against Trump in these 4 years.
