What is the most important aspect of trading? Some say it's about catching trends, others say not to trade too frequently. Some believe it's about setting proper take profit and stop loss levels. But I think it's patience, patiently waiting for your own trading signals to appear before taking action. Trading is actually similar to fishing; why do we use a bobber when we fish? The bobber is the signal indicating whether a fish is on the line. When the bobber moves, we should lift the rod appropriately; when the bobber remains still, we must patiently wait. Although many fish seem to be swimming around, most of them have nothing to do with the angler. We only wait for the bobber to give a clear signal that a fish is hooked. The same principle applies to trading: today you see Musk promoting Dogecoin, so you chase Dogecoin; tomorrow you hear some influencer say AI is promising, and you chase AI. The day after, Musk promotes frogs, and you turn back to buy frogs. The worst anglers are those who cast their lines all over the place, running here and there with their rods. Cryptocurrencies and fish in the water may seem plentiful, but most have nothing to do with you. As long as your trading signal hasn't appeared, no matter how bustling the market is, it has nothing to do with you. The only thing we can do is patiently wait for our own trading signals.
