According to Foresight News, digital payment solution provider WSPN (Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network) has announced that its stablecoin WUSD has completed the smart contract upgrade from V1 to V2. The new version of WUSD utilizes smart contract technology provided by Fireblocks, introducing several features, including: asset mis-transfer recovery mechanisms, role-based access control, institutional-level address blacklists, as well as security features, and technical upgrades such as optimized DeFi platform integration and multi-chain compatibility.

WSPN indicates that the modular design of version V2 will lay the foundation for introducing advanced features such as soulbound tokens (SBT) and identity authentication in the future. Currently, all V1 version tokens have been migrated at a 1:1 ratio, and users only need to import the new contract address in their wallets to continue using them.
