PANews, December 24 - Slow Fog founder Yu Xian tweeted that a project has a serious security vulnerability in the test network environment. The Humanity Protocol directly stores users' plaintext private keys in the browser's sessionStorage. This issue arises when logging in through Web2 methods (such as email login), where the platform automatically assigns a wallet to the user, exposing the plaintext private key directly. Fortunately, this is just a test network and has not caused any actual harm.
