Recently, I've noticed a common mistake where some people, during the process of BTC hitting new highs, are eager to jump into altcoins out of fear of "missing out on this big market movement." This mistake can cost you dearly in the market.

BTC's current market cap percentage is rising, and it is hovering near a key liquidity area. The open interest in the futures market is usually very high at this time, as many are chasing BTC perpetual contracts. If BTC pulls back from a high liquidity area, altcoins can immediately experience a quick retracement of 7%-8%. If you are eager about altcoin positions, at the very least, wait until the open interest gets cleaned up before acting, and choose strong altcoins like Doge, SOL, or SUI. You can easily track BTC's open interest situation by adding Aggregated Open Interest on the BTC chart on Velo.

From a broader perspective, most altcoins reached local peaks on November 13, with a few exceptions. Meanwhile, $BTC has repeatedly created higher lows and maintained its upward trend structure. Although this may seem like a weak performance for altcoins, I believe it is a natural pullback process after the altcoin market experienced impulsive rises post the US elections. Take $WIF as an example; its funding rate was overheated after being listed on CB but has significantly decreased now. The RSI on the 4-hour chart is also gradually approaching the oversold area, and it is expected that WIF will reach my accumulation zone when it hits oversold status. This is a slow process preparing for the next big market movement. Many altcoins show very similar trends (like $TAO ).

I often talk about trigger points and indicators in the channel. I try to write everything as clearly as possible so that you can understand my thinking and reuse these methods when appropriate. These trigger points and indicators should help you build your own system, understand when to enter certain altcoins, and more importantly, when to sell. Having your own system will make you more profitable, as you will make decisions based on key trigger points rather than emotions.

The reason I do not provide explicit buy and sell suggestions in the community channel is that my content is aimed at helping you build your own system and become an independent investor.
