A surprising comment has just appeared in the US Congress, regarding the achievements in the field of weapons manufacturing of China and Russia.
On November 14, the US Congress held hearings on issues related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
Lawmakers are taking seriously the threats that an extraterrestrial civilization might pose.
Among the main dangers associated with UFO visits, politicians consider the possibility of extraterrestrial assistance to Russia and China in military technology.
Some US congressmen also believe that the lag of the country's military industrial complex in developing hypersonic weapons is due to the intervention of other forces.
"Over the decades, we've seen that we have certain adversaries, like China and Russia, that are not as advanced as the United States technologically, they lack the lethality that we have."
"However, they have used special technology and in some cases have been successful. For example, in building missiles. I am concerned whether this technology comes from our planet or from another world," said Republican Party spokesman Andrew Ogles.
Aliens are suspected of helping Russia and China build high-tech weapons.
Congressman Glenn Grothman also supported the above view and emphasized that unidentified flying objects recorded in the US were suspiciously concentrated around defense facilities and secret military bases.
The politician pointed to a large gathering of unidentified drones last December in the skies over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
“Where these drones come from and who is operating them remains a mystery. Is this phenomenon the result of our foreign adversaries developing advanced technology or something else? We have to take it seriously,” Mr. Grotman worried.
Lawmakers also expressed displeasure with the Pentagon's cover-up of UFO research, calling on future President Donald Trump to declassify the program so the threat can be fully assessed.
