Market Review

Last Friday, despite the unexpectedly weak U.S. non-farm payrolls report for October, the U.S. dollar index reversed in a V-shape and nearly recovered all the losses during the week, closing down 0.4% at 104.31, as the market realized that the data distorted by hurricanes and Boeing strikes would not prompt the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates sharply.
