Cosmos is a decentralized blockchain project aimed at creating an interconnected network of blockchains capable of interacting with each other. This allows developers to create new blockchains that can easily integrate into the existing ecosystem.
2️⃣ Partners and Investors
$ATOM raised $9 million during its seed investment stage from Paradigm, Bain Capital Crypto, and 1 confirmation.
The ICO raised $16 million, which shows the level of community support, not to mention investments from one of the top funds, Paradigm.
3️⃣ Assessment and Potential
The total fundraising for the project currently exceeds $26 million.
Many well-known projects are starting to collaborate with the Cosmos Hub ecosystem, such as LayerZero, a leading cross-chain protocol for messaging between blockchains. This will allow users to transfer assets between Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos networks.
4️⃣ Roadmap
In September 2023, the Interchain Foundation team, responsible for developing Cosmos Hub, presented an updated project roadmap, announcing the "super app" AEZ, which focuses on uniting blockchains. They also plan to add a special protocol for optimizing clients across networks.
