Whales Earn 40 Million XRP in 48 Hours Prices: Where Next?

A popular crypto analyst reported an intriguing accumulating pattern among XRP investors despite price uncertainty. Martinez said on-chain analytics tool Santiment shows that XRP whales had bought 40 million XRP in the previous 48 hours.

Whale Alerts saw a spike in massive bitcoin exchange transactions during this accumulation pattern.

Whales Buy Millions XRP
Martinez uploaded a Santiment data graphic on social networking platform X showing the overall ownership of XRP addresses with 1 million to 10 million tokens.

He said these traders had bought 40 million XRP in the previous 48 hours, investing $22 million. This sum may seem little compared to XRP whales' larger moves, but it's the first big influx into these wallets since the month began.

Martinez's chart shows a worrying trend. Since October, whale wallet holdings have plummeted. This group had 3.93 billion XRP on October 1.

These wallets lost 130 million XRP in days, lowering their holdings to 3.8 billion XRP on October 8. The whale addresses' 24-hour accumulation has increased their holdings to 3.85 billion.

Whale Alerts reports many big XRP transactions entering and departing crypto exchanges in the previous 24 hours. 104 million XRP tokens worth $55 million were transferred from an unknown wallet to another unknown wallet in the greatest transaction.

Another major transaction was the transfer of 52 million XRP tokens worth $27.8 million from an undisclosed wallet to Bybit. 30 million XRP tokens were moved from Bybit to another private wallet subsequently.

Will XRP Reach $0.5 Or $0.6?

XRP has been stabilizing between $0.54 and $0.52 for the last week. As trading volume dropped 30% in the previous 24 hours, this lack of direction signals low volatility and poor crypto trader interest.
