Brief description of relay patterns

Relay patterns can be roughly divided into "upward relay" and "downward relay".

Today, we focus on the perspective of moving averages, explore the identification methods of the two, and analyze the buying and selling opportunities with examples. Under normal market conditions, market fluctuations are not linear. There are callbacks in the large-scale upward trend; similarly, there are small-scale rebounds in the large-scale decline (see Lecture 24 for more analysis). We call this kind of local counter-trend fluctuations that do not change the original trend a relay pattern, which are key signals for bottom-fishing or top-selling in actual combat.

The formation of relay patterns takes time. Short-term MA5 and MA10 fluctuate frequently and it is difficult to meet the judgment conditions; while long-term MA120 and MA250 react slowly and are prone to miss opportunities. Therefore, MA30 and MA60 are particularly important as mid-line reference indicators.

Take "upward relay" as an example:

Technical characteristics: After the market clearly enters the rising stage, there is a callback on the way, MA30 is close to or slightly lower than MA60, and a golden cross quickly after a short dead cross. During this period, the volume turned from shrinking to enlarging, the K-line lows gradually rose, and the moving average system finally formed a long arrangement, indicating that the rising relay was established, indicating that the market is likely to continue to rise in the future.

Technical meaning: The rising relay is a currency price adjustment strategy aimed at reducing the resistance to pull-up. With the rise, short-term profit-taking accumulates, and the selling pressure increases. It is necessary to release risks through corrections, and at the same time attract new funds to enter the market for subsequent rises, thereby raising the overall cost of the market. In the process of clearing profit-taking and increasing the average holding cost, an important observation point I mentioned initially is that MA30 first forms a dead cross with MA60 (crossing down), and then turns to a golden cross (crossing MA60 upward). This indicates that when the currency price re-establishes an upward trend, the clearing stage is basically over. For the rising or falling relay stage, they help stabilize market sentiment and avoid prices from falling into extreme fluctuations too early, because this is not conducive to the smooth completion of shipments for the main force, so it is not always positive.
