ChainCatcher reported that according to Cointelegraph, Paris-based Data4 said it plans to invest nearly $330 million to develop a new data center hub in Paiania, outside the Greek capital Athens.
It is reported that the company is currently negotiating with existing lenders and local Greek banks to finance the project. The company manages multiple data centers in six European countries (including Greece), and its expansion investment target by 2030 is 7 billion euros. However, the company said that additional investment is still under negotiation with local governments.
