[Ripple CEO and President will announce the XRP ledger journey at an important event]
RippleX has announced the speaker list for XRP Community Day Tokyo 2024, an event that will bring together the XRP community, blockchain enthusiasts, and industry leaders. Spotlights include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and President Monica Long, who will discuss company growth and the journey to building XRP Ledger.
In June of this year, Archax partnered with Ripple to expand functionality, with plans to bring hundreds of millions of dollars in tokenized physical assets (RWAs) to XRPL. In addition, Ripple plans to introduce Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility through the XRPL EVM Sidechain, improving interoperability and opening up new opportunities in the DeFi and RWA industries.
Ripple also plans to introduce stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar on XRP Ledger and Ethereum, which will expand its influence in the institutional and DeFi markets, increase application scenarios and improve payment infrastructure.
At the event, Ripple CTO David Schwartz will share the latest plans for institutional DeFi on XRP Ledger and discuss programmability and institutional capabilities. Other XRP Ledger community members and Ripple executives will discuss topics such as ecosystem growth, Japanese user trends, SBI Ripple collaboration and interest in Japanese NFTs.
