According to Odaily Planet Daily, Avalanche founder Emin Gün Sirer said that Satoshi Nakamoto's 1 million bitcoins may face quantum threats. The Pay-To-Public-Key format used in early Bitcoin will leak the public key, increasing the risk of attack.
Modern Bitcoin wallets and systems like Avalanche no longer use P2PK, but the Bitcoin community may need to consider freezing Satoshi's 1 million Bitcoins, or setting a final date to freeze all Bitcoins on P2PK UTXOs.
Google announced the launch of its latest quantum chip, Willow, which it claims can complete calculations in just five minutes that would take current top computers 10 to the 25th power years to complete.
