Web3 startup Pi Squared, led by University of Illinois computer science professor Grigore Rosu, has raised $12.5 million in a seed round led by Polychain Capital. 💰🚀🔐 ABCDE, Bloccelerate, Generative Ventures, Robot Ventures and Samsung Next participated in the round Pi Squared is developing technologies that enable verifiable computation using zero-knowledge proofs. The company's first product, called the 'Universal Settlement Layer', allows blockchain transactions to be settled in any programming language. Rosu aims to launch the project on a testnet by the end of the year.
