Dalpura offered investors from the USA and other countries the opportunity to earn "huge profits" of up to 42% annually by investing in the hotel business in Las Vegas and cryptocurrency trading. In reality, he paid money to old investors with funds from new ones. The accused lost about $1.7 million from victims' funds in gambling, covered debts with them, and also paid for his children's education at a private school.
