LIVE#FET Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison for multibillion-dollar fraud. The trial was held today. Judge's statement:
“I take into account that investors lost $1.7 billion, creditors - $1.3 billion, clients - $8 billion. The fact that they will be paid compensation is not of fundamental importance. A thief who stole, then took the money to Las Vegas, bet, made money and paid compensation is not eligible for pardon."
