Renowned cryptocurrency enthusiast and advisor to the President of El #Salvador unexpectedly stated that the near future of Bitcoin appears rather uncertain, with a significant likelihood of the #BTC price dropping. Max Keiser has always emphasized the brilliant prospects of Bitcoin, predicting its rapid rise to $100,000 and the replacement of fiat money with BTC payments. However, the macroeconomic situation suggests that the first cryptocurrency's value might indeed decline, Keiser believes. The pivotal factor is the rising yield of US Treasury bonds— the income percentage on ten-year bonds has reached its highest level since 2008. Consequently, a substantial portion of the funds that investors could have allocated to Bitcoin will likely flow into bonds.
"The increase in bond yields will exert pressure on Bitcoin's price, as more capital shifts towards high-yield instruments," asserts the analyst.
Nevertheless, according to Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat, and Mark Yusko, CEO of Morgan Creek, Bitcoin's price might surpass $150,000 as early as next year.
