After his speech at Stanford University, Milei traveled to California to meet with Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google. However, the most notable meeting was with Altman, who has been compared to J. Robert Oppenheimer for his transformative role in the field of AI.

- On his official X account, the Argentine president shared a photo with Altman and expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunities offered by a “libertarian” Argentina. Despite avoiding formal contact with other presidents, Altman made an exception for Milei. He supposedly attracted by his fervent defense of capitalism and economic freedom.

- Milei was not alone on this mission. He was accompanied by key figures from his administration, including Luis Caputo, Minister of Economy; Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency; Demian Reibel, head of the Council of Economic Advisors; and Gerardo Werthein, ambassador to the United States.
