EigenLayer begins #EIGEN token airdrop

#EigenLayer has launched its $EIGEN token airdrop, allowing users to claim tokens, though non-transferable for now, with speculators estimating their value at $15 billion. Eigen Foundation has made the tokens non-transferable and with some geographic restrictions, and targets token transferability by September. They have also made some revisions to the distribution plan in response to community feedback, allocating extra funds to some users in season 1 airdrop.
