Indian regulators are actively pursuing the development of a database aimed at preventing cryptocurrency-related crimes. Their objective is to position India as a leader in global cryptocurrency regulation by establishing this database by the end of this year, or at the latest, by March next year. In addition to this, as the current chairman of the G20, India has also taken the initiative in creating a global cryptocurrency transaction surveillance framework (CARF) in the previous month.
