Share it below and we'll address it in the next round! 📝 Q1: What is the biggest learning from STEPN, and how will it be applied to STEPN GO? A: This is a very deep question. There are a few things we learned: 1/ The move2earn model worked, but only with a robust anti-cheating mechanism, so SMAC upgrades are an ongoing process. 2/ The dual-token model worked, but only if the game tokens are burned for non-productive purposes. For example, if the game tokens are burned for productive purposes, then more game tokens will be produced, leading to inflation. This is exactly why we developed the social modules—the Outfit, Interactive Map, and MoonBase are aimed at non-productive purpose game token burns. 3/ The Energy’s daily renewing system in STEPN is not working; it literally creates a perpetual machine. Therefore, we implemented the new Energy System in STEPN GO, where the only way to get Energy is through Sneaker burning. 4/ Although STEPN was the first Web3 app integrating a marketplace, game elements, wallet, and DEX all into one, it was not enough for Web2 onboarding. So we designed the Haus system and FSL ID, allowing Web3 users to seamlessly invite their Web2 friends or family to STEPN GO without crypto knowledge or spending anything. Q2: Why will STEPN GO use GGT and not GST? A: GGT is under an entirely new design with an all-new tokenomic structure. Its utility is different from GST. Allowing GGT and GST to bridge would introduce many uncertainties we cannot foresee and could potentially destroy the in-app economy. Q3: Will the Sneakers in STEPN GO also have skins? A: Yes. The Sneakers are now part of the Outfit System, meaning people can change their Outfit to modify their apparence in the app. Q4: How do you expect to onboard the masses with STEPN GO? A: Thanks to the Haus system and FSL ID, onboarding will be much easier than with STEPN. Additionally, the new SMAC-7 and Energy System will ensure much more stable user growth. We continue building because we believe in creating a sustainable and stable ecosystem. Therefore, it is not about building creative stuff, but about building things we know will work for a long time. Q5: Can you provide more details about the Trial Sneakers? A: No. All minted Sneakers can be traded freely. Q2: Will multi-accounting be discouraged in STEPN GO? (e.g., one person filling their Haus with their own alternate accounts) A: We don’t discourage multi-accounting; we simply won’t know if the Guest and the Host are the same person or different people. However, if people move with multi-accounts or devices, the SMAC will find them and punish them. Q3: Will you be offering bug bounties during the Alpha test? A: We will seriously consider this option. Q4: What will be the phone/OS/system requirements for STEPN GO? A: At the moment, I don’t think STEPN GO has high requirements, but once we enable the 3D Avatar and Interactive Map features, the system requirements will increase. Q5: The Whitepaper says “Users can turn themselves visible on the Interactive Map.” Wouldn’t that result in privacy issues? What about the potential for stalking? A: No, because people are by default invisible, and anyone wanting to be visible needs to actively turn on this option.
