Telegram's CEO, Du Rove, has announced the introduction of Telegram Stars

A new feature designed to enable mini-programs to accept digital service payments. These mini-programs, such as Notcoin, can be used without needing to install them and are available for purchase within apps on both Android and iOS devices. Developers can acquire Stars through TON via Fragment and utilize them to promote their apps on Telegram at a discounted rate.

When users buy Stars through Apple or Google, a 30% service fee will apply. However, Telegram plans to subsidize advertisements purchased with Telegram Stars. This initiative aims to attract more developers to the platform and encourage them to promote their applications using Telegram Stars.
