Garanti BBVA, one of the five largest banks in Turkey after Akbank, has taken a critical step for crypto money. Accordingly, the company that announced Garanti BBVA Crypto announced that it will initially make this service available to employees.
Following Akbank's Ak Yatırım, Garanti also implemented its own crypto move. It was stated that the crypto wallet and transfer service, announced by the bank via internal e-mail, can initially be actively used by company employees.
However, the company also added to the statement that crypto trading transactions cannot yet be made in Garanti BBVA Crypto. In addition, no information was shared about when this crypto-related service could be used by the bank's customers.

The bank also stated that it was looking for a "Crypto Asset Expert/Official" in June 2022. The authorized person would be involved in the 'Crypto Asset' transactions carried out within BBVA.
