BITCOIN HALVING CONFIRMED! 🎇 🎇

The final block out of 210,000 blocks has just been mined! 🔥

Every time we reach 210,000 mined blocks on the blockchain, we experience the Bitcoin halving event which happens roughly every 4 years. This is a crucial part of the entire crypto ecosystem as the mechanism reduces the block rewards to miners by half, resulting in less and less $BTC coming into circulation every halving hence why we usually see a rise in price. 

SCARCITY = VALUE

As of right now,  the reward is 3.125 BTC for every block mined compared to 6.25 (half) prior to the halving just this morning. It takes approximately 10 minutes for a block to be mined (around 144 blocks per day) and the final ever BTC to be mined is estimated to occur around the year 2140 which is when all 21 million BTC will be in circulation. At this point, miners will no longer receive BTC rewards but transaction fees.
