This article selects 15 Web3 games from the games that will be available on the Epic Games Store based on their popularity and community attention.

Since November, the price of ILV tokens of the RPG blockchain game Illuvium has nearly doubled, rising from nearly $50 to around $95 on November 11. During the nearly two-week continuous rise, especially after the official Illuvium Twitter account released an announcement on November 8 that it plans to be listed on the Epic Games Store on November 28, the price of its tokens has risen more significantly since around $65.

According to Epic's 2022 annual report, the Epic Games Store now has more than 230 million PC users. As a traditional game platform, compared with the leading brother Steam's rejection of Web3 games, Epic Games, which wants to catch up, seems much more open-minded.

In March this year, Steve Allison, general manager of Epic Games, said that its game store will launch nearly 20 crypto games by early 2024, but the official will not be involved in the development or distribution of any such games.

While welcoming Web3 games, the Epic Games store also has a number of requirements and regulations for the release of these products using blockchain technology, including prohibiting any links to blockchain, NFT or cryptocurrency stores, not promoting gambling, not providing products and services to users in China and South Korea, and Epic Games has the right to remove products using blockchain technology from the store at any time based on market behavior (such as in response to issues that may have a negative impact on players).

The exposure and number of players that Epic can provide are far beyond the reach of any current Web3 game platform, which provides opportunities for Web3 games that are eager to enter the vision of mainstream players.

In addition to Illuvium, Web3 games such as the NFT card game Parallel are also planned or have already entered the Epic Games Store. According to PANews statistics, there are currently 77 games listed in the Epic Games store, of which 41 games are about to be launched, and the number of games already on the shelves has already exceeded the "small goal" of 20.

Based on the popularity and community attention of the games, PANews selected 15 Web3 games from the games that will soon be available on the Epic Games Store for a brief introduction.
