Showcasing Key Partnerships and Engaging with Global Web3 Community
IOST was a Gold Sponsor at WebX2024 Tokyo, one of Asia’s largest Web3 conferences, continuing from its participation in 2023. This year, our booth showcased several key ecosystem partners: Eversystem, a pivotal player in the IOST developer community; STIR, which supports IOST staking services; and Meta Akita, with whom we formed a partnership at the end of 2023.
OKJ Rebranding Event
The licensed Japanese exchange OKCoin Japan has rebranded as OkJ. The day before WebX24, OkJ held a rebranding event, and IOST was a sponsor. IOST Co-CEO Blake introduced the IOST project to a full house at the event.

Over the two days of WebX, our booth was a hit with the global Web3 community. Meta Akita, a startup recognized by the Akita Dog Preservation Society, made its debut at our booth, where we displayed a giant plush Akita dog named Masaru. We also welcomed VIPs from Japan’s finance and Web3 sectors.
At WebX 2024, we had branded giveaways for visitors, including drip coffee and mobile fans with the IOST logo.
We engaged with many potential ecosystem partners at the conference. As we head into the latter half of 2024, the IOST team is excited to build on the momentum from WebX 2024 and continue pushing our initiatives forward.
