Arbitrum's total transaction volume on Uniswap exceeds $150 billion

👀 The Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Arbitrum has exceeded $150 billion in transaction volume on the decentralized exchange Uniswap, marking it as the first Layer 2 to reach this milestone on the DEX, according to a social media post by Uniswap Labs on Monday.

✔️ Blockchain analytics platform DeFiLlama indicates that Arbitrum's total value locked (TVL) stands at $2.64 billion, positioning it as the largest Layer 2 by TVL and the fifth largest overall protocol by TVL, trailing behind Solana, BSC, Tron, and Ethereum Layer 1.

MetaMask has introduced "smart transactions" to protect against MEV bots.

US senators call for action against cryptocurrency mining in Iran

🙀 Elliptic company has developed an artificial intelligence-based system capable of efficiently detecting 🧺 money laundering through bitcoin transactions.

📉 The team used a dataset of nearly 200 million transactions on which the model was trained to identify not just individual illegal operations, but entire "subgraphs".

⌨️ System testing on an unnamed cryptocurrency exchange showed high accuracy: out of 52 suspicious transaction chains, 14 were confirmed as related to money laundering. 🧐 On average, only one in 10,000 accounts is marked as such, indicating the model's effectiveness.

🤯 Using external data, the system can detect money laundering schemes that are inaccessible to traditional analysis methods.
