For Pepecoin to reach Dogecoin's all-time high market capitalization, it would need to increase its price by approximately 70 times.
Pepecoin has recently gained significant attention in the crypto community due to a substantial price surge shortly after its launch. Its listing on major exchanges like Binance and KuCoin has further boosted its price.
Currently, Pepecoin's market capitalization stands at $1.22 billion, surpassing well-known crypto assets like AAVE, XTZ, MKR, and ZEC. At present, PEPE shows a 1,340% increase over the past seven days.
Pepecoin’s growth has been more explosive than that of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. However, PEPE remains smaller than the leading meme coins. To match Shiba Inu's market capitalization, Pepecoin would need to increase its price by 4.8 times, and to reach Dogecoin’s market cap, a 9x increase is required.
While these increases are not impossible, it becomes harder for an asset to achieve significant price jumps as it grows larger. Additionally, PEPE's price movements are largely driven by speculation and hype, suggesting that we can expect substantial volatility in its price going forward.
