The Arbitrum (ARB) community is currently engaged in a governance vote on a proposal to implement the Liquidity-Delay (BoLD) protocol on Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova, as reported by The Block. The implementation of BoLD aims to bolster the security of the Arbitrum network on the Ethereum mainnet, effectively mitigating potential delay attacks that could disrupt the system's functionality. The governance vote commenced on January 23rd and will conclude on January 24th at 6:54 AM (Korean time). Currently, the proposal has garnered unanimous support, with 100% of the votes cast in favor of implementing BoLD. Should the proposal pass, BoLD will be integrated into Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova in February.
