Mechanism Capital 聯合創辦人兼合夥人 Andrew Kang 表示，大多數市場參與者並未意識到比特幣可能失守四個月以來價格區間的重要性。

Andrew Kang 將當前市場情況與 2021 年 5 月的區間做對比，當時比特幣和其他加密貨幣也經歷了一個拋物線式的漲勢。這次加密貨幣市場槓桿超過 500 億美元（不包括 CME）的時間點同樣接近歷史最高點，且這次的情況更複雜。Andrew Kang 解釋道此次高位盤整區間的時間更長（18 週對比13週），而且至今尚未經歷極端的清算，相較之下，2020-2021 年的牛市中期經歷了多次回撤。

Andrew Kang  總結道：

「很可能我最初對低於 5 萬美元的估計過於保守，我們可能看到更極端的回調至 4 萬美元區間。這樣的回檔對市場來說將是相當有害的，可能需要幾個月的震盪/下跌趨勢（恢復期）才可能出現向上趨勢的反轉。」
