According to BlockBeats, a previously inactive Ethereum wallet has resurfaced after more than eight years. The wallet, which initially accumulated 11,004.9 ETH at a price of $3.45 per ETH, became active again as Ethereum's price surged by 12% on November 7.

The wallet holder has already sold 5,485 ETH within an hour and a half, converting it into 15 million USDC. The sale was executed at a price of $2,736 per ETH. This significant transaction marks the end of a long period of dormancy for the wallet, which had remained inactive since its initial accumulation of Ethereum over eight years ago. The recent price increase in Ethereum appears to have prompted the wallet holder to liquidate a substantial portion of their holdings.
