🟥 DAY 11 UPDATE: SURVIVING THE VOLATILITY 🟥 I've been away from the market since Friday. One of my rules is not to trade on weekends, and it's been crucial for maintaining my sanity. Position Update : $BTC - limit order if CME gap at 59.6 gets filled. $JASMY - holding in spot $BCH - holdng in spot All my long positions in futures are closed for now. # Current Market Situation - We’ve seen Bitcoin drop from $64,000 to $60,000, even tapping $59,800. - There's a CME gap at $59,600 that we’re watching closely. # Potential Scenarios - Wait for a test of $59,600 and reclaim of $60000 before considering a long position. - If Bitcoin surges to $63,500 without a retracement, consider shorting from $64,000 down to $55,000. - If the range is between $64,000 and $58,000, we need to trade within this range. So observe and adapt. # Challenge Update - Current Balance: $223 (account is 2x already) # Advice for New Traders - You don’t need to trade every day. Sometimes it's better to observe the market and wait for the right opportunities. - Trading is about being selective. Don’t feel pressured to make moves every day. Market Update : If BTC fails to closed above 64100 on the daily, then yesterday's move was a fake pump! The 4h structure is bearish and would advise new traders to spectate and not dive into trades blindly. Active Trades : $JASMY - long (SL at BE) Won't trade #Bitcoin❗ until we cross 65k, and I am sure this PUMP has momentum! 🟥 DAY 9 TRADE UPDATE: SURVIVING THE VOLATILITY 🟥 The market’s volatility yesterday hit hard, and it’s been a rough ride. Here’s the lowdown. # The Current State of Affairs Yesterday’s Starting Point: - Balance: $184 - Loss: $35 in just one day - Current Balance: $155 - Unrealized PNL: - $41 in red It’s not a pretty sight. Most of my capital is tied up in just two trades right now. One wrong move, and I could strike out completely. # Active Trades - $BTC : Deep in the red, holding on and hoping for a bounce. - $JASMY : Also in the red, waiting for a retracement. # Strategy Overhaul Given the recent hits, it’s clear we need a new approach: - Altcoins: No more than 10x leverage from now on. - Big Coins (BTC, ETH, SOL): Capping leverage at 24x. The urge to gamble is strong, but discipline is stronger. # Lessons Learned - High Leverage = High Risk: It’s a stark reminder of the dangers of high leverage. Don't let your over-confidence ride your tide. - Market Unpredictability: While everyone focused on the FOMC, global events (like the threat of World War 3 or geopolitical tensions) can drastically affect the market. - Capital Management: Losing $35 in a day has been painful. But it’s part of the journey. # Moving Forward Risk management is now our top priority. Sharing these tough times is part of the journey. It’s not fun to lose, but it’s all about learning and growing.
