CloverPool data shows that the difficulty of #Bitcoin #mining has been adjusted at block height 889,056, with the difficulty increased by 1.43% to 113.76 T. The average #hashrate of the entire network in the past seven days is 822.70 EH/s.

SEC: PoW Mining Activities Do Not Constitute Securities Offering The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) issued a statement clarifying that the activities of miners and mining pools under the #PoW mechanism do not involve the issuance of securities, and therefore do not need to comply with the registration requirements of the Securities Act and the Exchange Act. The statement pointed out that the Protocol #Mining conducted by miners on the PoW network only involves the investment of computing resources to verify transactions and maintain network security. The rewards obtained by miners come from the execution of network protocol rules, rather than relying on the entrepreneurial or management efforts of others, and therefore do not meet the definition of investment contracts under the Howey Test.

According to Bloomberg, Cathie Wood, founder and CEO of ARK Investment Management, said that most memecoins may eventually become "worthless" and warned investors to be cautious. She pointed out that the combination of blockchain technology and AI is spawning "millions" of memecoins, but her private equity fund will not invest in these assets. Wood believes that memecoins may become "digital collectibles" in the future, and a few will stand the test of time, which may include the memecoin launched by Trump. At the same time, she reiterated her bullish view on major crypto assets such as #Bitcoin , #Ethereum and #Solana , believing that their application scenarios are expanding, and predicting that Bitcoin may exceed $1 million by 2030.
