Pornanong, secretary-general of Thailand’s SEC, said that if approved, this would be the first opportunity for residents to directly invest in a Bitcoin ETF in the country. Currently, Thai investors can only access overseas Bitcoin ETFs through a fund-of-funds product launched by One Asset Management in mid-2024.
