Transparency, clarity, and dialogue are important to us. Over the past few years, we have put considerable effort into improving this, with the latest improvements being the launch of our financial insights report, along with our on-chain audited financial statements to complement our annual activity report. We’re now bringing forward the launch of a series featuring members of the Cardano Foundation leadership and various subject matter experts. This will be a regular forum for open discussions about our activities, where we will answer questions and share the context needed to move forward together. The announcement of the Cardano Foundation’s participation in Project Catalyst has created a large discussion within the Cardano community. We welcome and take seriously all the feedback over the course of the last week, even where we may disagree. We want to follow up on Catalyst, further elaborate on our actions and also address some other questions about the Cardano Foundation which have come up. We greatly appreciate all of those who acted quickly to alert us of the issue. A special thanks goes to the Cardano community and our broader network of contacts and peers for their invaluable support. The unauthorized content posted from this account between 8 December at 13:00 CET and 12 December at 17:00 CET was entirely unfounded and does not reflect the views or endorsements of the Cardano Foundation. We can confirm that no other Cardano Foundation systems were affected during this incident. A comprehensive investigation is underway to identify the attacker(s), determine the root cause, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
