Cardano ( $ADA ) and MultiversX ( $EGLD ) communities and investors are looking forward to a potential collaboration. On November 30, IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles) and MultiversX Foundation CEO Beniamin Mincu (@beniaminmincu) agreed upon a goodwill meeting this week. Everything started with a casual conversation between ADA and EGLD communities regarding the ongoing dominance of centralized dollar-based stablecoins like Circle’s USDC, Tether’s USDT, and Ripple Lab’s RLUSD, looking for sound alternatives. During the talk, Cüneyt Denizli (@DenizliCuneyt), DBCrypto (@DBCrypt0), and Angry Crypto Show (@angrycryptoshow) discussed a Cardano-MultiversX ecosystem collaboration, referencing decentralized stablecoin alternatives. Denizli summoned Hoskinson for the talk, asking if IOHK was in contact with MultiverseX, which received a positive answer. One hour later, Charles Hoskinson tagged Beniamin Mincu, suggesting they could “have a call sometime.” Mincu responded he will be in the United States “next week” and is “happy to meet and chat” with Hoskinson. Nano ( $XNO ) is dominating crypto payments on @NanoGPTcom, a hub that leverages pay-per-use transactions to access premium (paid) AI models. On December 1, NanoGPT published a data breakdown of all its crypto payments from November in the different accepted cryptocurrencies. The AI hub looked at the transaction count and volume of each coin, revealing its users’ preferences and customers’ behavior. Essentially, people can top up their NanoGPT accounts with 15 cryptocurrencies to pay-per-use more than 30 AI models (chat and image). Each prompt or query generates a payment, which is deduced from the pre-funded wallet. Among the AI models, customers can query OpenAI’s o1, ChatGPT-4o, and Dall-E 3, Antrhopic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Google’s Gemini 1.5 Pro, Meta’s Llama 3.1 Large, xAI’s Grok 2, Flux Pro, and others. The accepted crypto and blockchains for payments are Nano (XNO), Monero (XMR), Base, Polygon (POL), Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Solana (SOL), Circle USD (USDC), Dash (DASH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Banano (BAN), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether USD (USDT). 🇧🇷 Brazil Central Bank considers banning self-custody stablecoins as the $BRL collapses against the $USD in forex markets. Brazil’s Central Bank (BCB) has unveiled a proposal to effectively ban the transfer of stablecoins to self-custody wallets. This happens amid the Brazilian Real (BRL) hitting an all-time low against the US Dollar (USD), raising local economic concerns. The draft regulation aims to tighten control over cryptocurrency operations, in particular foreign-backed stablecoins, aligning them with traditional financial regulations.
