Example of a Short Trade: Imagine borrowing 50 shares of a company priced at $80 per share, selling them for a total of $4,000. If the share price falls to $60, you can buy back the 50 shares for $3,000, return them to the broker, and keep the remaining $1,000 as profit (excluding fees). Risk Considerations 1.
