HEY new traders and new crypto members it’s very important for one to identify or differentiate between meme projects and alt coins.
First of all what is a MEME TOKEN OR PROJECT??? These are crypto currencies that are created based on some popular internet memes or humorous characteristics, with no specific purpose of use case .
These are created just for fun and entertainment purposes and hold no inherent benefit.
However these cryptocurrencies become quite popular in recent years capitalizing on the hype of the internet memes .
Like i earlier said these cryptocurrencies are created with no purpose of use case ,some meme coins have created a purpose of use for example DOGE COIN is being used for making online payments.
Shiba Inu is building an entire ecosystem of protocols including a decentralized exchange,shibswap ,a layer 2 blockchain, shibarium and SHIB :the mataverse .

What are Altcoins ??
Altcoins are all alternative cryptocurrencies to bitcoins . So except for bitcoin every cryptocurrency can be referred to as an Altcoins .
All meme coins are part of Altcoins but not vice versa.
