Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) apologized for his “bad decision” and took full responsibility. Meanwhile, another Binance founder, He Yi, admitted that CZ may have made mistakes, but the biggest one was his ignorance 🤷‍♂️. CZ will be sentenced on April 30 after settling the case with the US Department of Justice (DOJ) in November 2023. The DOJ requested a sentence of 36 months even though CZ had previously waived his right to appeal a sentence of up to 18 months. CZ turned himself in voluntarily and accepted responsibility in the case, with the hope of resolving matters before trial and pursuing new opportunities. He also asked for a second chance, recalling his unconventional and integrity-filled career path. He Yi, founder of Binance and mother of CZ's three children, describes him as a guardian of the cryptocurrency industry. According to him, the founding team, including himself, had no legal expertise and most members, except CZ, could not read English. However, with limited experience and legal knowledge, CZ managed to win over users with fairness, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility for the industry, despite making mistakes. My Crypto Journey Part 3 Many people ask me, you have made profits from $SHIBA, #SAFEMOON, #SPORE and etc, which means you should be very rich now. Here I will answer it significantly. My answer is 'BIG NO' I got the momentum, I have felt the profits from coins rising thousands or even tens of thousands of percent. But that's where my biggest mistake came. I, who just entered the crypto world for the first time, never thought that something that rose quickly and very high would on average fall quickly and deeply too. So I mostly missed my chance to make a profit, even my own capital was also dragged down. And what I saw at that time, shitcoins were so hype, dozens of types of shitcoins were increasing thousands of percent per day. But at that time hundreds of shitcoins were launched every day. The psychology of us beginners was provoked by the market conditions at that time, we took bad steps, we wanted to buy all the shitcoins that appeared that day as long as there was still cash. Most of the profits that I should have achieved I let evaporate. I even added all the profits and spent my own capital. My Crypto Journey Part 1 I got to know crypto at the beginning of 2021. When I first entered it was momentum less than a year after the 3rd Bitcoin Halving. The market at that time was so exciting, every day we would see various coins increasing by more than 60% every day, and that was normal for that time. The market is so bullish, FOMO is so strong, and thousands of fake analyzes are popping up. Even though you have to know that at times like that, you are recommending 10 random coins as long as they are not coins that were just launched yesterday, it is impossible that none of these coins will be good in a week, because at that time the market after the Halving was really very bullish. At that time, I had just entered the crypto market for the first time, and was very surprised by the situation at that time. With disbelief, what is this illegal stuff that can make our money from $100 to $300 in just 1 night, maybe even $100 to $10,000 if you invest in shitcoins that are being pumped by WHALE. Then with a little courage and a lot of doubt, I tried to enter the market with small capital. And it's true, I really felt at that time making money was very easy in the crypto market. I suddenly became a wise person in terms of investment, taught and directed many of my friends and family to start investing in cryptocurrencies no matter how small, because this is the future in my opinion.
