We are registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit India (FIU-IND) as a Reporting Entity under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Our swap exchange, developed in collaboration with XREX Inc., a team renowned for building and scaling global technology and security businesses, addresses the challenges in the P2P trading space. The collaboration leverages our understanding of the pain points faced by novice crypto users to create a secure, compliant, and transparent platform. Let's delve into the reasons behind the growth of P2P trading in India and the problems we aim to solve. A fundamental issue arises from the fact that many crypto exchanges in India have halted deposits and withdrawals, leading to a surge in P2P trading volumes. Consider the scenario of individuals receiving payment in crypto; they must convert it to INR for their daily needs. Unfortunately, this exposes them to scams or the risk of having their Indian bank accounts blocked due to receiving INR from illicit P2P transactions on exchanges. To tackle this, we joined forces with XREX and implemented Contract Bitcheck for P2P transactions, allowing both buyers and sellers to verify IDs and contact details before completing a transaction. Unlike other platforms, this provides a level of protection against fraud.
