So, in both conditions, you should imagine a clear road with a car!

The speed I mentioned is the momentum of chart candles! If the candle size is high, there is big momentum, so the trade trend is stable! The car knows its riding way is good!
Now, the momentum is reducing, which means in the same time frame, the size of the candle is reducing, which means it's decided to change its direction! - the car wants to take a turn, so it reduces the speed for a turn!
