The order is expected to designate cryptocurrencies as a national emergency or priority — strategic language intended to guide U.S. government agencies in working with industry. The order also plans to create a #cryptocurrency advisory committee to propose policy priorities on behalf of the industry, people familiar with the matter said.

#BTCBackto100K According to Bloomberg, Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is considering approving the listing of #Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on local exchanges. Pornanong, secretary-general of Thailand’s SEC, said that if approved, this would be the first opportunity for residents to directly invest in a Bitcoin ETF in the country. Currently, Thai investors can only access overseas Bitcoin ETFs through a fund-of-funds product launched by One Asset Management in mid-2024.
