🆘 What happened in Crypto in the last 12h? • $BTC - The Fed's rate cut and Powell's comments sent Bitcoin downward, touching 99K, below 100K. $BTC saw its biggest drop since September. • The Fed cut rates by 0.25% and Jerome Powell made hawkish comments in a press conference. This sent the US stock and crypto markets into a downward trend. • $BTC - 'We're not allowed to own bitcoin,' Fed Chair Powell says in light of Trump's strategic bitcoin reserve promise. • DXY - The dollar index DXY surpassed 108, marking a new high since November 22nd. • $ENA - World Liberty Financial has announced a collaboration with Ethena Labs to integrate sUSDe into the WLFI lending platform. WLFI also acquired an additional $ENA ($250K). And Ethena's proposal allows users to receive $WLF token rewards for sUSDe deposits. • $FTM $S - Sonic Labs announced the launch of Sonic Mainnet, a high-throughput EVM-compatible L1 blockchain platform. $FTM holders can upgrade their tokens to $S on Sonic on a 1:1 basis using upgrade portal. • US crypto exchange Kraken's own layer 2 network #inkonchain has announced the launch of its mainnet. • $AVAX - The Avalanche Foundation hinted at the airdrop, saying there would be a holiday surprise for those who voted for Retro9000. • $ARKM - Arkham has announced an official partnership with the Sui network to provide data for Sui users. • Lens, the L2/Social-fi developed by Avara, the company behind $AAVE, has raised $31M in a funding round led by Lightspeed Faction. They have stated that the mainnet will be launched in Q1, and TGE is expected during that time.
