You don't know it, but the MultiversX Foundation (@MultiversX) is onboarding dozens of Brazilian🇧🇷 Web2 and Web3 devs to code on MultiversX (@CodeMultiversX) with the NearX School Dojo (@nearxschool). We are at the Week #2 in this dojo, led by Lucas Oliveira. In the Week #1 we learned how to build a MultiversX block explorer, calling the mvx API. Now, we are using the SDKs to create an egold $EGLD wallet via CLI to send/receive transactions and also building a smart contract that needs to act like a mailbox. Most people in the call had never heard about multiversx before and are now coding on it 🤯. I've joined the classes, as part of my «Learning to Code on MvX» personal challenge, and I'm learning a lot already. Besides that, I'll be hosting the first of many local events in Brazil this Saturday, onboarding even more people into mvx and blockchain; already establishing some fruitful connections. The event has xAlliance's (@xAllianceDAO) and the Foundation's support. Build something. Whatever it is. No excuses. Start now. Let's go!

For some reason, some people think that personal attacks and targeted harassment is ok in a professional environment, here on 𝕏. Calling out (in a disrespectful manner) other people for their work is not ok, if you are a professional colleague in this industry. There are ways of providing feedback, but insults, mockery, targeted harassment, and other forms of personal attacks are not it. If you want to be listened to, you should behave as someone worth listened to; otherwise you might be confused as a random internet troll and an unserious person. So, you can't really blame serious people for avoiding listening/responding to unserious people. There is too much noise already for that to be a thing, and time (and energy) must be used wisely. On a side note, it strikes me to see so much unserious people being that much rewarded and embraced by their audience. Where I come from, these people would be ostracized, ignored, and treated accordingly as untrusted sources nor worth listening to or being supported. But there is a worryingly growing tendency in the opposite direction, where bad behavior has been rewarded. This is a cultural issue and could be the death of a society/community if it doesn't change. The change must come from each person, individually. I was really sad to see some posts in my timeline today, even if, this time, I wasn't the one being targeted (but I have been there a few times in the last 5 years of working in this industry, and this is the one thing that sometimes make me reconsider working in this industry at all). Gladly, the real world is a lot different than 𝕏, and we continue punishing bad behavior in professional environments.

BlackRock is launching a Bitcoin ETP in Europe today. Another step in the company's influence over BTC. Another step in the company's lobby and government influence worldwide. I wouldn't care if Bitcoin had enough organic demand. But, right now, BTC's demand is massively dominated by centralized derivatives like future contracts and ETFs/ETPs, with BlackRock being a key player. Onchain transaction volume is at significantly low levels, while the speculative, derivative-based volume keeps growing. This is not good for BTC, and it's so sad that most BTC supporters can't see that.
