PIP-3 passed yesterday, and today, we continue to build and look ahead at what’s coming next. As operations of our first batch of hashrate stabilize and we work to bring more hashrate online, we are planning ahead beyond this current phase of hashrate backfilling and starting to make preparations for Phase 2: Protocol Scaling. Given that the constantly developing and growing $BTC and Web3 ecosystem is not focused on a single chain, we see an omnichain token as an important enabler of scaling Prosper in the future to allow $PROS and its holders to have as much access and connection to the wider ecosystem as possible. Our first reward campaign for $PROS holders commenced with the launch of our v1 web app on 31 October 2024. Since then, over 1.3M $PROS have been staked thus far. Over the course of the campaign, we have observed community feedback of users wanting to be able to see estimated rewards, even if they haven’t yet staked (an estimate is currently available for stakers). As such, we present this simple proposal for community decision on whether or not we dedicate some resources to making a simple calculator available for any user.
