During the November election period, #BTC has surged, and data suggests that this rise is the result of multiple parties buying in together. However, the recent push towards 80,000 appears to be led primarily by Binance futures, as there hasn’t been a notable increase in spot trading on Coinbase today.

I looked into BTC pricing dynamics, and these charts are quite interesting. The CVD volume on Binance futures and spot markets has been decreasing consistently this year, indicating a continuous state of selling off. Coinbase, likely due to the ETF, has seen consistent volume increases. BTC price fluctuations have managed to counteract selling pressure, though it’s clear that Binance futures have a substantial impact on price volatility, with movements largely in sync with price changes. In October, both Coinbase and Binance futures entered a consolidation phase, possibly due to uncertainty around the upcoming election. Trading volume decreased, and the price was lifted by buying on Bitfinex, Bitstamp, and Kraken.

Based on this analysis, where is the BTC price likely headed in the future? With net inflows from Coinbase and ETFs, the #BTC halving, and strong support from Trump and Musk, the long-term price trend for BTC is certainly upward. In the short term, looking at the 4-hour chart, Binance futures trading volume has been fluctuating cyclically, and it’s currently near the upper end of the range without yet breaking the peak. This suggests there could be another futures-led push upward, followed by a potential move into a downward phase (futures sell-off).

After #BTC and #ETH wiped shorts last night, most alts shorts get wiped out too today through pumping. But alts didn’t bring much profit, so it still depends on the majors. BTC just broke the 76,300 resistance, which is also the bottom of the wedge. Let’s see what’s next!
