Binance Announcement: $FTM Token Swap and Rebranding to Sonic (S) Key Dates: 2025-01-13: Binance will delist $FTM trading pairs and suspend deposits/withdrawals of $FTM tokens. 2025-01-16: Trading for Sonic (S) pairs begins, and S deposits open. Token Swap:FTM will be swapped for S at a 1:1 ratio. S initial supply: ~2.88B, capped at 15% growth until 2031, with 1.75% annual inflation after four years. Impacted Services: Spot Trading: Ftm trading pairs delisted; S trading pairs listed. Margin, Futures, and Loans FTM removed, with automatic settlements and asset conversions. Earn Products & Auto-Invest: FTM support ends; S subscriptions resume after the swap. Other Services, removed from Binance Pay, Gift Cards, Convert, and Buy & Sell Crypto. Users should manage their assets, repay loans, and close positions to avoid losses. Further announcements will provide updates.
